The Jeep Gladiator, the history of the historic Jeep brand continues!
The original Jeep Gladiator, known as the Jeep Pickup or J-series is a series of full-size pickup trucks based on the large Jeep SJ (Wagoneer) platform, which was built and sold under numerous brand marques from 1962 to 1988. The original Jeep Gladiator/Pickup design is known for remaining in production for more than 26 years ! For many years the Jeep enthusiast only dreamed about a Jeep truck! After many years the engineers at Jeep listened to the many Jeep fans that had shown great interest in a Jeep Wrangler based 4×4 pickup!
The all new Jeep Gladiator is a midsize 4×4 truck manufactured by the Jeep division. It was introduced at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 28, 2018, and went on sale in the spring of 2019. The Jeep Gladiator is based on the same platform as the Wrangler JL, the Gladiator is Jeep’s first pickup truck since the Comanche was discontinued. The new Jeep Gladiator 4×4 truck has been long awaited and for many years seemed like it was just a vehicle that many die hard Jeep enthusiast desired! When the all new Jeep Gladiator arrived the vehicle was an instant hit with both old school Jeepers and the new generation first time Jeepers!
The Gladiator and the new 392 Hemi powered Rubicon JL prove that the Jeep brand engineers and marketing team truly want to deliver life style vehicles!
